In God We Trust

These words are printed and inscribed on all coins and legal tender of the United States. It seems a little ironic that it is the very thing Jesus said we should not put our trust in (riches, mammon).

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon

(NKJV) wealth, (NASB); money, (NIV).

Matthew 6:24

IN GOD WE TRUST needs to be indelibly printed on the minds and hearts of men and women, boys and girls, where it can have it's effect in the lives of the citizens of this great country.

TRUST IN GOD

But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord, I say, "You are my God."

Psalms 31:14

In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?

Psalms 56:4

Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Psalms 62:8

May it be true of each of us:
