Love
It's easier to love humanity as a whole than to love
those whom we encounter on a daily basis.
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar;
for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen,
cannot love God whom he has not seen.
1 John 4:20
Love is the glue that holds relationships together;
jealously causes them to become unstuck.
Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not
arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own,
is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5
Wrath is fierce and anger is a flood, but who can stand before jealousy?
Proverbs 27:4
It's much easier to demonstrate love than it is to define it.
Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue,
but in deed and truth.
1 John 3:18
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy
of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility
and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance
to one another in love.
Ephesians 4:1-2
