Removing Commandments

Many are upset over the 10 commandments being banned from of schools, courts, and other public places. What should cause greater concern is the fact that some have removed the following New Testament commandments from their hearts.

THOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD

    " 'You shall love the lord your god with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the great and foremost commandment.”

Matthew 22:37-38

THOU SHALL OBEY JESUS' COMMANDMENTS

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”

John 14:15

THOU SHALL LOVE ONE ANOTHER

"This I command you, that you love one another.”

John 15:17

THOU SHALL LOVE YOUR BROTHER

And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God

should love his brother also.

John 4:21

THOU SHALL NOT HOLD TO THE TRADITIONS OF MEN

"Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men."

Mark 7:8
