Be Thoughtful and Kind

     It lifts one's spirit when others are thoughtful and kind to you. It's pleasant to be the object of such affection. However, kindness extended to me in no way validates my character. It's when I show, demonstrate, and extend kindness to others that validates my life. Kindness reflects the condition of the heart in the giver, not the receiver.

The kindness of God toward mankind reflects His character, not mine.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while

we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

~~~~~~~
I need to be thoughtful and kind toward all.
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Galatians 6:10
To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.
1 Peter 3:8-9
