"Lame Excuses"

And the man said, "The woman whom Thou gavest to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate." Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

Genesis 3:12-13

Man: She gave it to me and I ate.

   Woman: Serpent deceived me and I ate.

       God: You are responsible for your own actions.

Lame Excuses Today

He/she made me do it.

I couldn't help it.

I was told it was okay.

I wasn't the only one.

It sounded good to me.

Others have done worse things.

It's not a big deal.

That's just the way I am.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
