 The use of standard marks and signs in writing and printing in order to clarify meaning.

While thinking about punctuation, it came to me that punctuation marks may be used to highlight Bible precepts.

stop, don't continue

Become sober-minded as you ought, and stop sinning.

1 Corinthians 15:34

pause and consider

"Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!"

emphasize what is important

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves.

examine by questioning
