Maintain

To keep up or carry on; continue.

To keep in an existing state; preserve or retain.

To keep in a condition of good repair or efficiency.

     Material things need maintenance; personal relationships need maintenance; and most important, spiritual matters need maintenance. Any of these can easily fall into disrepair if not properly maintained.

Three Spiritual Things to Be Maintained by Christians

To keep up or carry on; continue:

maintain the same love for one another

Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.

Philippians 2:2

~~~~~~~
To keep in an existing state; preserve or retain:
retain sound words; maintain principles without bias
Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 1:13
I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles
without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality.
2 Timothy 5:21
~~~~~~~

To keep in a condition of good repair or efficiency:

maintain a blameless conscience

"In view of this, I also do my best to maintain always a blameless conscience both before God and before men."

Acts 24:16
