What Is Love?

What It's Not!

jealousy

braggadocio

arrogance

unbecoming behavior

self-seeking

being easily provoked

taking into account a wrong suffered

rejoicing in unrighteousness

These actions are at variance

with a profession of love of others.

What It Is!

patience

kindness

rejoicing in truth

bearing all things

believing all things

hoping all things

enduring all things

These actions demonstrate love of others.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

FAITH AND LOVE

This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.

1 John 3:23

If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.”

1 John 4:20

One without the other is vain!
