Contagious

Defined: Spreading or tending to spread from one to another.

COURAGE IS CONTAGIOUS

News of Paul's exemplary conduct while in custody affected others.

Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel, so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else, and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear.

Philippians 1:12-14

How often have we seen a situation wherein something is not what it should be, but no one has the courage to speak up. This is true, especially in churches. It seems that fear of "upsetting others" or "being labeled an alarmist" hold many back--that is until someone has the courage to speak up.

There is a need for courageous followers of the Lamb. Those who will stand up and say "I Stand Upon the Word of God." Be one whose courage is contagious!
